The weather in Melbourne has been pretty
miserable lately. Winter seems to have gone on forever. Spring briefly
visited a few days ago but it's now retreated again.
So when the sun starts shining, we
Melbournians definitely make the most of it. Evie has even caught on
to how precious any sunlight is.
Evie's a fan of indoor sunbaking. Why
sit in the backyard and sunbake when you can do it in the comfort of
your very own windowsill?

Haha! That's so cute! Mine love sunbaking too...they will choose a few spots in the lounge room to do that during the day as we get lovely sunlight in there.
ReplyDeleteSomething quirky...Buttons has been waking me up at 3:40 every morning by coming near my face, rubbing his face against it and snuggling up and purring for a long time! 3:40. I don't know why he chose that time.
3.40am! Holy cow! That must be seriously annoying. I'm sure you love snuggles from Buttons but not at that ungodly hour.
DeleteOur cat sits in a shelf of our Ikea "expedit". She also rolls over when we whistle and sits when we ask her to sit. She's extremely obedient for a cat. Much more obedient than the nearly 3 year old (human being)!! Gorgeous pics of your fur baby x

DeleteMy girl lies curled up against my leg/on my foot when I'm on the computer - I think it's so she can sleep and know that I can't go anywhere without her knowing!
ReplyDeleteAwww... No need for a motion sensor when she can just snuggle up against your leg! They're smart buggers our little four-legged friends....
DeleteNow that its close to chrissy, our cats can't resist the christmas tree with all the baubles hanging so temptingly!( Had to get the spray bottle onto them a couple of times!) They have also decided that it makes a good scratching post!
ReplyDeleteWe also recently discovered that Kieran has a fascination with our bathroom sink. When we turn on the tap to brush our teeth he is over in a flash, poking his nose into the sink to watch the water go down the plug hole..
